COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in computer

information systems requires the satisfactory completion of 13

units in the areas of business administration, computer science,

and statistics to include Business Administration 125, 225,

248, 258, 358, 438, and 416 (internship or 300 or above

Business or Computer Science course); Computer Science

120, 170, 220, 340, 420; and Statistics 202. Mathematics 121

and 122 are prerequisites for Statistics 202.

This program is administered by the Department of Business

Administration and Economics.

Admission to the Bachelor of Science program in Computer

Information Systems requires approval of the Department

chairperson upon completion of Mathematics 121 and 122,

Business Administration 125 and 225, and Computer Science

120 and 170 with at least a 2.0 grade point average. Students

may be admitted to the program prior to completing the

above courses if their performance is promising.
