Course Changes

Any change in a student's course of study requires permission

from the student's advisor, the Office of the Registrar, and -

for adding courses - the individual instructors. Course

changes must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar

before the deadlines given in the Academic Calendar.

Examination Rescheduling

Students are expected to take their final examination on the

day and hour as specified in the Academic Calendar. Due to

evening courses, however, some students have found that their

final examination schedule consists of three consecutive

exams. This could be morning, afternoon, and evening exams

on the same day or an afternoon and evening exam on one

day and a morning exam the next day. A student with such a

schedule may request permission from one of the professors

to reschedule the exam at the convenience of the professor. If

all three professors will not reschedule, the student is urged to

seek the assistance of his or her advisor or the Office of the

Registrar.

Re-Examination

A re-examination may be given only under circumstances

that constitute an emergency.Approval of the instructor and

the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs is required. In

addition, a different examination must be given.
